First off, if someone has a better name for this, please let me know--especially with everything going on I'm not in support of actual censorship or anything, I just can't think of a better way to convey what this hack is doing.
Anyway, have you ever wanted to rec your friend Mother 3, and then realized that you have to somehow awkwardly explain the existence of The PK Love Scene while maintaining both their interest in the game and their friendship with you? Well no more! This hack rewrites that scene to be a "baptism" of sorts, albeit one still done by a naked alien. Furthermore, while I was in there I made some other text changes:

The scene of you rescuing Ionia has been rewritten a little to be less creepy

The "Magypsies" are renamed to the "Magystics", because there's really no need for that to contain a slur

Reggie no longer speaks in third person or with broken English, because it's really not a good look to have the sole dark-skinned character be depicted this patronizingly
Alas, due to my lack of skills as an artist, Reggie's sprite remains the same. If someone else would like to take a crack at making his lips look normal (or any other edits you think would be appropriate), just use the included Sprite Editor and send me a patch, and then I'll add it to the hack. Oh, also, I made the debug menu available here, because tbh I needed it to get through the end when I played the game, and you can just ignore it if you want. It can be activated by holding Start and Select while you change rooms.
Finally, please remember that romhacks are entirely optional experiences, and the mere existence of this hack has no effect on you if you choose to play the game without it. Thank you.
P.S.: Don't worry about the splash screen saying "v1.2"--this hack is, in fact, based on version 1.3 of the English fan translation.

This literally makes no sense to do, and even for what it's actually trying to do... fails. Why change the NAME of the Magypsies (the idea that gypsy is a "slur" is already eye-rolling enough) when they still look like Drag Queens (and have speech affectations to this effect as well) and this hack does nothing about that aspect? The idea of changing Reggie to speak fluidly makes no sense either, when it's clearly apparent that he's merely just having difficulty with a language not native to him. For this hack author to suggest that this creative decision was a sign of "low intelligence" I find to be far more offensive than what the original game intended. Changing the PK Love scene into a "baptism" not only entirely removes the clever subtext of the scene, but also forcefully inserts overt religious propaganda, which I find more offensive than the scene as it was originally intended. But the Magypsies still look like drag queens, Kumatora still says "Damn", Club Titiboo is still Club Titiboo, Wess's abuse of Duster is still left in, Duster's disability being referred to as a "gimp leg" is still left in, the consistent animal abuse from Fassad is left in, and the Porky statue peeing it still left in. It really just highlights how this hack author has a biased agenda he's trying to push, while prioritizing his own personal offenses into the project while being stubbornly and willfully blind to others which he can't be bothered to edit, either. It just makes the very intent of this entire hack very questionable and a failure even at what it's intending to do. Not only that, it's willfully missing the point and misinterpreting Mother 3's own story and character context to do it. Very heavily not recommended for anyone. It's a failure at what it apparently sets out to do, does it poorly and very inconsistency at that, overreaches and misinterprets the context of the game itself for some poor and inconsistently applied, fanfictiony attempt at bad virtue signalling.
