Street Fighter II' SCE Alternate Character Colour Edition (W)

The changes in this hack are extremely minimal. The only real change in the game is a new alternate character colour change when pressing start in ''Hyper Mode'' and the character colour schemes are all switched around in both ''Champion'' and ''Hyper'' modes.

Stef's clear PCM and FX fix patch is added as well as Yoni's Zangief tempo fix patch.

The region lockout has been removed to make the game region-free and the checksum is fixed.

Is this one really worth a download? you'll probably pass on this one but at least it's here.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Inside the ZIP file you'll find the single patch, it's in Lunar IPS format and must be patched to the (European) PAL ROM of the game, yes you read right, the European ROM not the USA ROM. You can still play it in NTSC-U on the USA setting and the game will run like normal. It can also be played on a Japanese Mega Drive in NTSC-J. The region lockouts are removed so everybody from any region can play it and the music doesn't play slower or faster, just normal in all regions.

NOTES:

Although the patch plays just fine in NTSC-U and NTSC-J just remember that because the base ROM is a PAL European ROM, the intro screen, endings and bio screens play a little faster in 60Hz and give the music less time to finish.
