About Suikoden – The Last Hope Remastered

The latest patch introduces a number of exciting updates and enhancements. One of the most notable additions is a new story route that allows Odessa to become a main character alongside the Hero, Tir McDohl.

A New Alternate Scenario Featuring Odessa

• Odessa survives and remains an active part of the story
• Ability to save Gremio
• Ability to save Ted
• Return to Toran Castle after the final battle
• Visit Gregminster after the final battle
• Visit the Village of the Elves after the final battle
• Additional gameplay features to enhance immersion and continuity

Patch 1.6 – Remastered

Events and Story

• Ted: A new fate and storyline have been added
• Sergei: New event – first encounter with Camille in Kaku Village
• Odessa: New scenario introduced in Rikon Village, before meeting Dr. Liukan
• Neclord-related events: Storyline improved and related issues resolved
• Old Toran Castle is now accessible (speak to Sergei to visit)

Checked:

• No bugs found in the remastered version when leaving Gregminster after meeting Barbarossa
• No bugs found in Dragon Castle

Fixed:

• Freeze when Luc appears
• Krin disappearing
• Neclord event issues

Party and Characters

• Characters can now be freely added to or removed from your party
• Apple now offers a Party Change option
• Odessa added as an NPC on the 4th floor of Toran Castle
• Bugs in the Add/Remove Party Members system have been fixed
• Sergei no longer auto-joins the party (auto-join behavior removed)

Dialogues and NPCs

• Multiple dialogue updates for clarity and improved narrative immersion
• Additional NPC interactions added or refined

Economy and Items

• Maximum money (Potch) increased to 65,000 (via Gasper)
• Cups Game rewards increased to encourage participation
• Various items rebalanced for improved gameplay functionality

Bug Fixes and Improvements

• General bug fixes and issue resolutions

• Toran Castle exit point (“To go out”) has been fixed

• Character duplication fixed:

  • Kirkis no longer appears twice after Sylvina hugs him

• Collision bug resolved:

  • Fixed an issue where Tir McDohl could clip through a wall in Toran Castle, causing a crash

• Overall game stability and performance improved

Kaku Village – First Encounter with Camille

The event where the player first meets Camille in Kaku Village has been fixed and enhanced. The issue with the downstairs entrance of the pub, which previously caused pathing errors and incorrect event triggers, has been resolved. Camille now appears as intended, and the event plays out correctly.

Patch 1.7

• Fixed an issue where Tesla appeared in Odessa’s location while speaking to her on the 4th floor after defeating Barbarossa and returning to the castle.

Patch 1.8

• Improved Gen and Kamandol’s events in Rikon Village
• Updated Gen and Kamandol’s dialogue in Rikon Village
• Fixed Odessa’s dialogue on the 4th floor

Patch 1.9

• Fixed an issue where the player became stuck when talking to Gen (to obtain Rapid Stream).

  • Gen attempted to join the party, but all members were locked (Viktor, Flik, Gremio, Odessa, Ted), preventing removal.
  • This issue has now been resolved.

• Resolved an issue where McDohl could incorrectly escape from Kraze inside his home, causing event flow inconsistencies

      • Adjusted event sequencing to ensure castle events trigger in the correct order and character appearances occur as intended.
      • Fixed Leknaat’s name in dialogue after escaping from Kraze inside his home.

Save Crystals

• Save points now fully restore HP and MP for the entire party
• All status ailments are cured upon saving
